Guy Duininck: To the Uttermost!
No matter what test, trial, temptation, or onslaught we are facing, we can go boldly to the throne of grace and receive from Jesus’ present day ministry as our Great High Priest. The strengthening grace He will impart to us in that place will sustain us, fortify us, and empower us in our inner man, no matter how weak we currently are, no matter how great our need!
We can rejoice and live in the light of these powerful words from the Hebrew epistle:
"Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we might receive mercy and FIND GRACE to HELP US in our time of NEED." Hebrews 4:16
"Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).
