Guy Duininck: Your Labor in the Lord is Not in Vain

Paul exhorted believers in Corinth with these words:
"Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your Labor in the Lord is Not In Vain." I Corinthians 15:58
The word "vain" in this verse means, "empty, destitute, without fruit or results."
It is important for us to know that our, "labor in the Lord" is NOT in vain. Not only will the lives of others be enriched and transformed and blessed as we serve, but God will also reward us one day for our faithful service! He is a faithful and just Master.
