Strengthening Grace
The popular definition of Grace - "God's unmerited favor" - does not do justice to New Testament Grace and obsures the reality that there are several unique Graces in the New Testament; including Strengthening Grace.
Strengthening Grace is that available power of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ which can be shared with/infused to believers to strengthen them in their inner man, enabling them to live Powerful and Overcoming Christian Lives even in the fact of tests, trials, temptations, and difficult people!
Strengthening Grace is the Help believers need in their times of need and the reason there is, in fact, a Throne of Grace for believers [Heb. 4:16].
There is a significant difference in concept between "unmerited favor” and "being Empowered in the inner man!"
