Don't Ignore Your Gut
The church's insistence that believers "always think the best of others" and "always walk in love" and "see people with Jesus' eyes" has dulled the hearing of some, fogging their vision, and causing them to ignore the quiet, but nagging messages of their own gut instincts about certain individuals. They may have even ignored strong warnings from the Holy Spirit.
It is important for believers to understand that the "uncertainty" or "red flag" or “I’m not sure about them” that we sometimes sense about certain individuals may not be an indication that we are too judgmental, but an indicator that the individual we are wondering about is, indeed, unsafe!
