All By Grace?

We have to be just a little bit careful when we say, "Everything is by Grace." That statement can leave the impression that no response of Faith to God's promises is necessary, but that whatever God has prepared for us will just come to us.

Those who develop the mindset, "It all just comes by Grace," can become too Passive in their Faith and, as a results, be lacking in the many wonderful provisions of God.

If the woman with the issue of blood hadn't acted in faith, she may have died. If Bartimeaus hadn't cried out, he would have remained blind. If Jairus hadn't sought Jesus out, his daughter would have remained dead.

Active Faith is Necessary!

James didn't say to believers, "If you lack wisdom, just wait; it will come by grace; it's all by grace." Even concerning partaking of strengthening grace, believers were exhorted by the writer of Hebrews to, "come boldly to the throne of grace.....to find grace to help in your time of need."

Don't be Passive in Your Faith!

If you are Passive in your Faith thinking, "It's just all by Grace," you may end up Lacking some of God's Necessary Provisions.
